Reimers with Summit People
"Do you want to go climbing and camping next month?"
Evan asked me at the gym and I was down with the idea with no hesitation. I marked the trip on my schedule as "BUSY". There is nothing more fun than go climbing and camping with friends, especially with people I see them regularly at Summit Gym.
This Reimers trip become bigger than I expected. We started with three people, Evan, Kyo and I. We spread word to people and then we had almost twenty people coming to climb and camp with us. It was AWESOME!
In the last quarter of 2016, I've been investing in traveling more than I've ever done in all of my life. I bought hiking shoes, a tent, quick draws, and tickets. I went to places that I knew no one and came back with a bunch of friends. My life has been so much better with this decision.
I used to afraid to travel because I hate to stay outside my comfort zone. I broke through and got off my comfort zone last December. I bought two tickets to Denver and Chicago. I spend 80% of those two trips make new friends and 20% with old friends. Now, I'm in love with traveling.
Back to Reimers, I did not climb much but I had a blast spending time with friends and camping. I got to know about my friends more than I usually did in the gym. I got out from the city and barely looked on my phone.
We watch Angel topped the House of Pain Wall before we head back to DFW.
