My last day in Chicago
I'M GOING BACK TO TEXAS TONIGHT.
DUDE! I'm super excited to get back to Dallas. Winter in Chicago is TOO cold for me here. I woke up this morning and it was like 9 degree! How can even a human live here?
I went to Valparaiso and spent two days watching Netflix.
I know this sounds ridiculous but it happened. I planned to get out from Chicago for a couple days, so I went to Valparaiso because it was very close to Indians Dunes National Lakeshore. However, it was raining for the first two days.
Luckily, I had a friend came to visit me from Michigan. She was amazing enough to drive 1.5 hours to hangout with me. Thank you again Hannah!
Therefore, I decided to come back to Chicago and couch surfing for another night with Keaton.
I came back to Chicago and headed to Art Institute of Chicago
Art Institue of Chicago
Museum of art is a place that you can walk in with your empty head and come out with full of thought. Seeing stuff that you could never understand and you do not need to understand.
I had this thought running through my head during I walked in the museum.
People doesn't believe that photography can be a job.
At one point I was so tired of explaining that photography could make very good money. I was tired of proving that I'm making money, not just spending time climbing and yoga and travel. I was tired of seeing a confused face of people when I told them that wedding photography is my full time job.
Before I leave the museum,
I realized that I do not need to prove anything to anyone. I'm healthy. I'm happy. My job also makes people happy.
I'm living in a dream.
"I need to get Chicago Skyline pictures tonight."
I had a picture goal for each trip. At the very least, I need to get city skyline shots.
I can take this trip very easy and just snap everything put them up in a blog with nice words. That can be enough. BUT I CAN DO BETTER.
LOOK THIS PICTURE. The skyline picture explains it beautifulness by itself without a word.
In every trip, I want to get at least one of this picture. The picture that you can posted without explaining the beautifulness. Sean O' Connell well said.
And getting this picture is not easy. It's nothing like I luckily get to the place during sunset. I needed to check sunset time. I went to both 360 Chicago, and Skydeck, to check which one had better view. I needed open sky with clouds to make pictures dramatic. And I needed tripod!
Well, I'm going to stop whining about my good life here. I'll let y'all enjoy Chicago Skyline pictures.
Hope y'all have a great day. :)
