Pimara was graduated in PhD in family studies. Her hard works in the past six years paid off.
Getting a degree is probably not a very difficult thing. However, being an international student and came across the world to get a degree in the states can be very difficult.
I have known Pimara since I flew into the states in 2012. I met Pimara first time when I went to have Thai foods with Thai family in Denton. The Gilberts, the Johnsons and the Kings, beautiful families in Denton, always help Thai students in many ways especially cooking Thai food for us.
Thailand is a second world country and the United state of America is a first world country. We want to have a better education in the USA. People might think study over sea is more like a vacation. You get to meet new people, new culture, and new places. However, you cannot forget the main objective of coming here, A DEGREE.
We have to overcome the culture different, speak foreign language, accept people's attitude toward foreigner, etc. Those are not easy to accomplish but it's not impossible. We work hard on it.
Pimara spent total 6 years to complete her PhD. She worked hard toward this degree and she earned it.
We are so proud of you.
